Initially I created this tool to help me better understand how crafting worked in Path of Exile. I then decided to make it available to the public and make it the best crafting tool possible as to demystify what is a really complex crafting system for people that might be intimated by it as well as being a useful tool for experienced crafters.

I always wanted the site to be free of use and keep it that way, hence the minimal ads to cover operationnal the costs.
